The City of Charlottesville recently adopted a new zoning code that allows for multiple housing units on lots city-wide, including in many older “single-family” neighborhoods. That means — under the right circumstances — a “little tiny lot” may now host two or even three (or more) units, depending on the zoning district and lot conditions. It will be interesting to see what gets built here now that this home in Belmont !
