Moving to a new city comes with a ridiculous amount of Googling. Which areas make sense? What does “close” actually mean there? Is this price right for this particular pocket? What should you know that you don’t even know to ask yet? Eventually, you just need someone who actually knows the place.
The buyers of 2315 Westover Drive were coming to Charlottesville from out of town, so having someone they could trust on the ground was a priority.
Liz came up in conversation through a mutual friend who knew she had already helped several people in their circle buy in the Ivy area. That recommendation carried something Google couldn’t give them: trust.

When you’re new to an area, you need someone who can give you context, tell you what deserves a closer look, answer the questions you haven’t learned to ask yet + help you feel confident making a very big decision in unfamiliar territory.
Liz has been that person for enough buyers that, years later, they’re still sending their friends her way.
