In the fall we got a chance to step inside the newly completed UVA Olympic Sports Facility and wow… next level doesn’t even begin to cover it 🏟️✨ Take a peak! From team meeting rooms and study lounges 📚 to snack and cereal bars 🥣, massage chairs 💆‍♂️, elite locker rooms (yes, even shoe air dryers 👟💨), every detail was designed with the student-athlete and top notch coaches in mind.

The sports medicine department is equally top notch 🩺 providing everything needed to keep these athletes healthy, strong, and performing at their best. I almost got in the cold plung🧊 for old times sake. One of the coolest touches was championship moments printed as wallpaper inside the coaches’ offices and athlete lounges🏆 a constant reminder of what’s possible. Most impressive of all was how UVA Athletics history is woven throughout the halls 🧡💙 honoring the former athletes who built the legacy, along with an Olympian wall 🥇 inspiring today’s Hoos to chase their biggest dreams. The energy in this space celebrates hard work, pride, and purpose ⚡️ It is insporational! The former UVA student-athlete and Coach in me was a little jealous… but mostly just thinking it’s about time! Excellence rooted in history, growing into the future. 🌱
