Whew! What a Friday! 🎉

This past Friday, PPMC held our annual October All Team Event which was packed with collaboration, connection, learning, and, of course, plenty of fun!

The day kicked off with a morning session focused on exploring our individual strengths and how we can work together more effectively as a team. Over lunch, team members participated in an informative 401(k) session, gaining valuable insights to help them invest in their futures.

The afternoon brought out our competitive and creative sides as we participated in a team-building challenge that combined trivia, engineering, and community impact. Teams put their knowledge to the test, built solar-powered cars, and then sent them head-to-head in a highly competitive race that had everyone cheering (and laughing) from the sidelines!

The best part? Our efforts resulted in the donation of 12 STEM kits to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia (learn more about them here: https://bgclubcva.org/ ), helping inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. Special thank you to Chase Rohan who accepted the STEM kits on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club and took some time to share with us about their mission.

At Park Properties, we love opportunities to learn, grow, give back, and have a little friendly competition along the way. We'd say this year's event checked all the boxes.

This prestigious honor reflects our commitment to providing high-quality affordable housing, exceptional resident services, and strong community impact.
To be recognized as a National Community of Quality® (COQ), a property must receive a high score based on six criteria: Physical Inspections; Employee Credentials; Financial Management; Programs and Services; Endorsements; and Photographs and Reports. Last week The Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® (CAAR) Public Affairs Committee hosted the 2026 Property Rights Luncheon, bringing together leaders from across the Commonwealth for an insightful discussion on zoning and its impact on housing affordability. Industry leaders shared firsthand experiences drafting, advocating for, and implementing zoning code changes, and William Park, President of Park Properties Management Company, provided expert perspective on the challenges and opportunities shaping our communities.
