PPMC’s 2nd Annual Company Picnic was (once again) a day to remember— bringing together connection, collaboration, and community in the very best way! 🌞
From great food and games to meaningful conversations, the day was filled with moments that reminded us who we are—not just as colleagues, but as a team that truly values one another.
This year, we were proud to expand our community impact with a second service project supporting the Waynesboro Family YMCA. Along with donating two cardboard table saws, our team put together summer kick-off goody bags for more than 100 YMCA summer camp attendees—hopefully helping campers kickstart the season with excitement and smiles. ☀️🎒
Another highlight of the day was our inaugural company co****le tournament, where the competition was fierce and the trophies were truly one-of-a-kind—handmade with love, care, and just the right amount of Hobby Lobby flair. 🏆🌽
We also took time to celebrate a very special milestone: the upcoming retirement of Cindy Smith of Poplar Forest. Cindy leaves behind a lasting legacy of community building, hard work, and dedication. She has meant so much to so many, and she will be deeply missed as she begins this next chapter.
Every laugh shared and story told reinforced a simple truth: we are better when we grow together. Here’s to stronger teams, reinforcing relationships, and a future powered by purpose—because PPMC’s success starts with its people.
