During my over 35 years of real estate experience in the Central Virginia area, I have focused on residential sales, both resale and new construction. I have continually attended educational conferences, classes, and seminars to stay abreast of the latest trends in the industry. In my early career, I spent several years as a sales manager where I was involved in the day-to-day activities of recrui
ting, maintaining and training successful real estate agents and I also served as Principal Broker for one office. I specialize in residential and luxury properties, new construction, relocation, and the senior market. My marketing efforts focus primarily on the use of technology and the internet to help bring buyers and sellers together! Since I am known for being a bit of an education 'foodie', in my early days I quickly earned my Graduate Realtor Institute degree' and moved on to earning my Brokers license. Over the years I have obtained my Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation, the Earth Advantage S.T.A.R. Sustainability Training for Accredited Real Estate Professionals, the GREEN designation, and more recently the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation, and the At Home With Diversity (AHWD) designation. In 2013, I served as Chapter President for the Blue Ridge Chapter Women's Council of REALTORS and in 2014 as well as 2019, I served as President for the Virginia State CRS and was selected by the Virginia Association of Realtors as CRS Realtor of the Year in October of 2015. I also served on the CAAR Board of Directors for over 10 cumulative years, serving as President in 2018. On a state level, I have served and chaired several committees and I have been a consistent major investor of our RPAC for many years. For the last 5 years I have had the honor of serving on several NAR committees, and currently serving on the Business Issues Policy Committee. I have been a member of the CAAR Professional Honor Society for over 25 years, and I have been a member of the VAR Professional Honor Society for over 15 years.
