16 years ago the world was blessed with this Queen! Happy Birthday .943 !! Today you remain the greatest gift of my life. You are beyond special, your gifts are truly unique, and the way you move through this world gives me an understanding and knowing that you will always be protected. From a young age your spirit has always been bold, your sense of humor on point, and your love boundless. Thank you for teaching me, for guiding me, and for loving me the way you do. The connection we have is unbreakable and I'm eternally grateful for how deep it goes and how it continues to grow. Please never stop being unafraid to show the world who you are. I see you, I honor you, and I love you more. Our annual fundraiser last night to benefit and cancer research was a huge success!! If you don't already know you need to! Not only is she our lower and outer Cape marketing guru, she's also an amazing event planner and helped last nights event go smoothly! Our Raveis agents and managers are blessed to have her as part of our team!

City time to celebrate Ahnika's 15th birthday - Chinatown, thrifting, piercings, delicious food, and freedom to roam.

This pic of us on the jungle gym is a great analogy for what life feels like some of the time, a balancing act of emotions, activities, fear and worries, joy, all the things that fill up our mind and days. In real life we're often hanging upside down by our feet, but we tried to pose for a picture here. I don't want us to pose in pictures for what life is really like though. I want us be vulnerable and open to the idea of how sharing ourselves with others makes us all stronger and more connected. How by letting ourselves be seen is how we find our people, love our people, and support and be supported by our people. So that's what we try to do while scaling the jungle gym of life, be open.

All I can hope for is that in every moment of Ahnika's life she knows that no matter what she's going through, good, bad, ugly, or scary, I am here for it without judgement, as her mom and as her friend. We are friends, and I'm thankful every single day for our deep friendship. Ahnika has taught me so much in her 15 years here but this isn't her first rodeo, she's an old soul that has so much wisdom, light, and love within. May she always know so very deeply how much she has available inside of herself, and how much this world needs her. She's helped me to learn how to show up and take care of myself, and to let my funky self shine like she does! Keep that shine coming my girl ❤️‍🔥✨❤️‍🔥✨❤️‍🔥✨❤️‍🔥

Have you heard about the Family Table Collaborative in South Yarmouth? Popped into the Commons at The Riverway and picked up some Saturday morning treats - good eats, delicious coffee, and wallet activism is my kind of morning! The money spent at the cafe and makers market will go back into the work of the nonprofit 🙌🏼👏🏼 which is providing healthy, prepared meals directly to community members free of charge ❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️
