Lunch at Porto’s with part of the IPL team — and two LEGENDS!

Betty Porto — her family turned a 300-sq-ft bakery into an LA institution, built on the same recipe her mom started making out of necessity as a Cuban refugee. Decades later, people still line up for it. That’s the standard we chase every day: build something so good, people keep coming back.

Brandon Beardt — has led our processing/UW department since IPL’s earliest days, and the results speak for themselves. He’s now relocating to Houston for the next year so his wife can pursue her dream in medicine — while still leading IPL full time. Dedication to his team and his family, all at once.
