Market update! Not much has changed since the last update. This time of year people are getting settled back in after the holidays and deciding if they are ready to buy or sell.

**The CPI Report will be released this morning, which will give everyone a better idea soon of what interest rates will be looking like and how the economy is faring.

Here is a market update for you! We are still feeling the same things as previous months. Houses are often staying on the market a little longer and inventory is going up. However, one thing that has changed is that interest rates have come down some. This is an amazing time to buy a house! Reach out to me if you have thought about starting the process.

We are feeling the market shifting and balancing out. Buyers and sellers are feeling the pains of it right now. Interest rates are higher than many buyers would like and sellers are not selling their homes as quickly as they could a year ago. BUT....

There is still opportunity. Motivated buyers can use their negotiating power and get some more favorable terms in a contract. Buyers can take their time when it comes to deciding on what house to offer on. Buyers can get creative when it comes to financing.

Sellers, it is okay that you did not sell a year ago. There were pains to that market as well. If you are thinking of selling, often times today is better than tomorrow to do it with the unknowns of the market. Reach out to me if you have any questions! Closed on this Southside beauty last week. I absolutely loved working with Dan and am so excited for him to make this house his own. Seeing clients find the exact home they have been looking for is just the best part of this job.

P.S. I am 100% jealous of that balcony as well.

We officially closed on Lisa’s house yesterday, and I could not be more excited for her! She has really pushed through it all and is officially a home owner, which has been one of her dreams for a while.

It was a true pleasure being a part of getting to the finish line and seeing her dream come true.
