Picture this. My client and I round the corner into the master bedroom, and there, sprawled out on the bed, fast asleep, is a German Shepherd. A big one. Nobody told us there was a dog in the house, let alone one that size. Cue a brief, very quiet moment of panic. We backed out slowly and decided to just check out the fenced in backyard instead. Then we noticed the back door was wide open. Nope, nope, nope. We bolted through the gate faster than any of us had ever moved, safely closing it behind us. The dog stayed cozy and safe inside the whole time, no harm done. But I learned today why they say “let sleeping dogs lie.” 😅😂🐕
