Flipping houses depends on one key factor: making a solid profit. And while the market has cooled, it’s still working for many investors.

Here’s what the data shows:
🔹 In 2024, 297,885 single-family homes and condos were flipped across the U.S.
🔹 That’s a 7.7% drop from 2023 (322,782 flips)
🔹 And a 32.4% drop from the 2022 peak of nearly 441,000 flips

Even with fewer flips happening, profits remain strong in certain areas. In 10 specific states, the average profit was $112,321, showing that while flipping has slowed, it’s far from over.
