Hey friends! It has been so long since I have posted last to my business page. One of my goals for 2026 is to have more of a presence and build my page as I did when I first started!

2025 was a great year! And while I did not show or post much of what went on, behind the scenes I helped many clients with selling or finding their dream home for their family! I've been MIA for the past week dealing with sickness, but I am kicking off the week with training and working on things for clients!

Some big things to note: The NAR, which is our National Association, has new practices that went into effect this past Saturday. These changes are for ALL Realtors. So whether you are my client or are working with someone else, or even with another brokerage, these will be things for you to know as well for as current or future buyers or sellers.

One of the biggest changes is that before touring or viewing any home, you will have to have a written agreement (we have standard forms for this). And the next main change is on compensation. All compensation is fully negotiable and not set by law. The buyer agreement includes different areas concerning compensation on how the real estate agent will receive this or how it will be determined. When selling, a seller may still agree to offer compensation to the buyers agent, however this offer cannot be shared on a MLS (Multiple Listing Service). The MLS is something both buyer and listing agents use for property information.

This is just a couple of the items and I am certainly not an expert yet, and we are all still learning since this just now is taking effect! But if you have any questions or concerns I would be happy to help answer them for you!
