Our Story

Steve Eady grew up in Chattanooga where he graduated from Baylor School and The University of Tennessee/University of Tennessee Chattanooga. After graduating with a degree in marketing Steve spent several years in manufacturing in Chattanooga and Atlanta before starting a successful construction company in Chattanooga. For the next thirty years that company built and remodeled residential and commercial homes and buildings. In addition, the company developed many properties in the city and on the area waterfront. Steve and his brother also started the first home inspection company in Chattanooga where they inspected hundreds of homes in the city.

Steve’s civic and personal associations include serving on many Boards including the following: Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Vision 2000, Venture, Chattanooga Golf and Country Club, Associated General Contractors, North River YMCA, Baylor Alumni Board, Chattanooga Yacht Club, WSMC, and Associated Builders and Contractors. Steve also served as the Commodore of the Chattanooga Yacht Club and the head of the Chamber’s Beautification Committee. He also received an award given to the person most responsible for the beautifying the city because of his efforts in sign control and city beautification.

Ellen Eady grew up in Jupiter, Florida and has lived in Chattanooga for almost 30 years. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications. Ellen’s strengths in sales and marketing & promotion were developed in her many years as a pharmaceutical sales rep and as a local business owner. She also wrote and published a very successful children’s book about Chattanooga (Pardon Me… Is That the Chattanooga Choo-Choo?). For many years, Ellen has been a guest reader and speaker at schools statewide to promote the love of reading. Ellen has served on the boards of the HOUSTON MUSEUM and the RIVERVIEW GARDEN CLUB.

Steve’s wide range of building and real estate experience coupled with Ellen’s sales and promotion have made them the perfect team. Steve & Ellen’s combination of skills and real estate knowledge make them the perfect team for selling and buying real estate in Chattanooga. Together they have sold millions of dollars in property in the Chattanooga area.
