Everybody swears high interest rates are supposed to knock home prices down. Turns out they mostly just handcuff people to the low rate they already have — nobody sells, so there's even less to buy. Drive it at 8 a.m. on a Tuesday first, because that pretty little street might feed straight onto Highway 153 — and 153 at rush hour tests a marriage.
