In January 2025, I started a second full time job with Unum. There has been an adjustment period, I’m not going to lie, BUT what I didn’t do was give up on my real estate career. I pushed through. I didn’t think of real estate as my “side gig,” instead I had 2 full time jobs.
Because of this shift, I was super selective who I took on as clients this past year. I wanted to make sure I could do this. I wanted to work with friends and family that would give me grace. I wanted to make sure that I could still give my all to every client and every deal. I didn’t take a single lead or market very much. Every person I represented as a friend, family member, or direct referral from a friend or family member.
And with all that said, I was still able to do 8 transactions totaling $2.1 million in sales. And the best part? EVERY BUYER CLIENT I WORKED WITH IN 2025 WAS A FIRST TIME BUYER!!! Like, are you kidding me?!? I got to help 7 families become homeowners when most of them never thought it was possible?!? I’m so blessed!!!
Honestly, the numbers don’t matter to me. They never have. What matters is that God has given me a gift of helping people, specifically first time buyers, turn their dreams into reality, and I’ll never take that lightly! I’m planning on working with 20 clients in 2026, I want to help more people, but I want to make sure I can focus on every client and give them my all!
