🚩 Red Flags in a Listing That Most Buyers Scroll Right Past

Not every issue is obvious in the photos. Here are a few things I always encourage buyers to pay attention to:

🏠 Only a few photos of the home. What isn’t being shown?

🎨 Fresh paint in just one area. Sometimes it’s simply cosmetic, but it’s worth asking why.

💧 Signs of water damage. Stains on ceilings, bubbling paint, or warped flooring can point to bigger concerns.

🌳 Large trees too close to the foundation. They may add charm, but they can also create foundation or plumbing issues.

🪟 An aging roof or original windows. Not necessarily a deal breaker—but definitely something to factor into your budget.

📍 No photos of the backyard or surrounding property. There may be a reason those views were left out.

🚗 A great house on a not-so-great location. Always look beyond the photos and check the map.
