We're excited to officially announce a landmark $300 million investment at The Bend — bringing a next-generation, world-class 12,500 seat amphitheater to Chattanooga. The legendary venue is being developed in partnership with Venu Holding Corporation ("VENU") (NYSE American: VENU).

With its anticipated scale and design, featuring a canopied roof allowing it to act both partially enclosed and open air, "Sunset Amphitheater Chattanooga" will become Chattanooga’s first multi-seasonal facility that can be utilized year round.

The amphitheater is projected to generate more than $4.2 billion in direct and indirect regional economic impact, supporting tourism growth, job creation, hospitality expansion, and long-term investment throughout Chattanooga and the surrounding region.

"One Day At A Time" — and yesterday was a monumental day for Jailhouse Studios! We are grateful to the Hamilton County Commission for their unanimous “yes” vote for the jail lease — an essential step forward for the vision to reimagine an abandoned, former County jail as a national creator hub for music, film, production, and education!

During the period of public comment before the vote, we were humbled by so many leaders of all different backgrounds who came forward in support of the project. We are especially thankful to all of the partners collaborating with us and leading the way!

We can’t wait to see this vision come to life, bringing incredible economic opportunities and world-class music, film, and creative productions to our Scenic City. 🎵🎬

We’re excited to officially welcome Goodwill as our anchor tenant at the East Ridge Shopping Center, currently under redevelopment! Featuring 17,000 square feet of retail, a donation center, and room for a future Opportunity Hub with free career services, this new Goodwill location was a perfect way to revitalize the area and serve the community.

Opening day was amazing — over 100 people lined up before the doors even opened! Goodwill’s mission goes beyond shopping: creating jobs, teaching new skills, and helping people build brighter futures.

This is the 16th Goodwill in our region, with 31 new employees in East Ridge ready to make a difference.

🗞️ For any concerns related to the idea of new data centers: this is not what you're familiar with. This site would be the WORLD'S FIRST of its kind, architected specifically for the entertainment industry and will be environmentally friendly by design, meant to reduce energy use, heat generation, and resource consumption. We expect this facility to operate at just 1–5% of the power required by a traditional large-scale data center while delivering comparable computing capability, and it's utilizing an existing building.

In candid conversation, Jimmy touches on life experiences along the way and what led to the founding of Urban Story Ventures in 2013.

Mike also interviewed Jimmy on Chattanooga’s future and his take on some of USV's developments — including the revitalization of Valleybrook Golf & Country Club in Hixson and the ongoing 120-acre mixed-use development The Bend on the riverfront, which will bring new opportunities for jobs, entertainment, and community spaces.
