You just watched what we do. But you have no idea who we are.

So let me introduce us.

My name’s Cameron and I own Junk It. I was born and raised in Chattanooga, I still live here, and every job you see in that video happened within a few miles of where I grew up. This isn’t a franchise that dropped a truck in your city. This is my hometown.

My partner is Gharett. He moved here from Utah before he even graduated high school to play professional soccer for the Chattanooga Red Wolves.

I dropped out of college and worked three jobs at once because I was determined to own a business. Neither one of us got here by taking the easy route, and it shows up in how we work.

Here’s the part most people don’t expect from a junk removal crew.

Before this, I spent years learning how to take care of people. I waited tables. I managed the executive suites at the Chattanooga Red Wolves, back when Gharett was actually on the field. Then I worked at a high-end luxury car dealership, where I learned how to make every single interaction effortless, polished, and memorable.

We don’t do junk removal. 🚫
We’re a customer service business that happens to haul junk.

I’m only half kidding. Stories like this one are exactly why the client experience is my favorite part of the job. 👇

We quoted this customer a few weeks back. Once he approved it, we ended up talking with him for almost half an hour. We met his wife, and he invited us inside to show off his rock collection. 🪨

That was a great first impression. But first impressions don’t mean much if you can’t deliver.

So we delivered. My team showed up on time and brought the energy of old friends catching up. Then they finished with a broom sweep that went beyond what he expected. 🧹

Here’s the best part: I wasn’t even there.

The customer called me just to brag about my crew. 🙌

But the real sign we nailed it came a few weeks later, when he called again. He had more stuff he wanted gone.

That’s the job you’re watching now. It included a chicken coop demo, a playset teardown, stump and brush removal, and some miscellaneous junk. When I gave him the quote, he didn’t pause, push back, or negotiate. He just said, “Great, let’s get started.”

We crushed it, and he was thrilled. But that’s not what I’ll remember.

What I’ll remember is the ice cream. 🍦

This wasn’t the courtesy bottle of water people offer because it’s hot out. It was his FAVORITE: raspberry chocolate mudslide bars, the kind he describes with his eyes rolling back in his head. 😂

That’s when you know you’ve made the jump.

1. junk removal is a low barrier to entry business.

What that means is anybody with a truck and trailer can do junk removal.

What that also means is it’s easy to set yourself apart from the Joe Schmoe who is borrowing his buddies truck to make an extra hundred bucks over the weekend.

2. Double income potential

Get paid to remove stuff, save it, and then get paid to give it to someone else.

The only downside is needing a place to store it all.

3. Junk Removal is AI proof

AI is not too far off from replacing thousands of different jobs- coding, marketing, analytics, copying etc. All of those and more have an end in sight.

Human waste, however, will never disappear. And if robots start removing junk for people, I’ll hopefully be the one who bought those robots and own them.
