Yeah we have traffic on I-24 and a little summer humidity. But here's what people don't realize about living in Chattanooga 👀

In 2026, we’re choosing peace.

And by peace, I mean moving to Chattanooga and pretending everything else will sort itself out.

In all seriousness, people love being here for immediate access to outdoor life without sacrificing culture: morning runs across the Walnut Street Bridge, sunset hikes on Lookout Mountain and weekend cave trips to Ruby Falls. We also have a compact, walkable scene—North Shore galleries and coffee shops, Southside breweries and restaurants, and a growing creative and tech community bringing new shops and jobs. Add riverfront parks, monthly farmers markets, and a lower cost of living than big Southern metros, and it’s easy to see why folks stay.
