Something I’ve noticed over the years: when you’re touring a home you love, it’s really easy to focus on the big things like the kitchen, the bedrooms, the backyard, the finishes.
Meanwhile, I’m paying attention to some of the things you may not be thinking about yet. Like… the driveway. 😉
Is there actually enough room for everyone’s cars? What happens when family comes over? Is backing out onto that road going to be a headache every morning?
I’m ALSO thinking about your commute to work, school zones, traffic at different times of day, neighborhood restrictions, storage, stairs, yard maintenance, where guests will park, how close you are to the places you visit regularly, and whether the layout is going to work for the way you mentioned you actually live day-to-day.
Sometimes it’s the little things you don’t notice during a 30-minute showing that become the things you notice every single day once you live there.
Part of my job is getting to know what matters most to you… and then keeping my eyes open for the things you may not even know to look for yet. 🏡
