One thing people don’t always realize about real estate is how much of the job has nothing to do with simply putting a sign in the yard.

Right now I’m helping clients sell their home while they’re overseas, and a big part of my role has become coordinating everything locally on their behalf — contractors, prep work, scheduling, communication, timelines, showings, and making sure small issues don’t turn into big problems while they’re thousands of miles away.

A lot of real estate is really problem solving and project management.

Every situation is different. Some clients are building a home. Some are buying and selling at the same time. Some are first-time buyers trying to figure out what’s normal and what’s not.

The goal is always the same though: help people make good decisions and keep the process as smooth and low-stress as possible.
