📢 FUTURE HOME BUYERS: waiting WILL cost you! ⚠️ Don’t say I never warned you.
While you’re waiting for interest rates to drop, home prices are going up. 📈
Not only will higher home values cancel out the costs you’d be saving with a lower rate, but may actually cost you MORE depending how long you choose to wait. ⏳
If your DTI isn’t changing while you’re waiting, then the home amount you’d be approved for today won’t change later either. 💰🏡
That average home price in the neighborhood you’re looking to move to will rise significantly by the time interest rates decline (when, and IF they do!) pricing you out of the areas you currently desire or forcing you to buy a smaller, more outdated home for the same price you could have gotten a nicer home for had you not chose to wait.
