๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ HONORING OUR WOMEN VETERANS ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

On this 2026 Women Veterans Recognition Day, June 12th, your Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters proudly honor International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2663 Cherry Hill Fire Department Firefighter/EMT and U.S. Coast Guard Veteran Lacey Heist and CHFD EMT and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Shanner Danner for their service and sacrifice to our nation.

Women Veterans Recognition Day is observed annually on June 12th to honor the service and sacrifices of female members of the U.S. military. This date marks the anniversary of the 1948 Women's Armed Services Integration Act, landmark legislation signed by President Harry S. Truman that granted women the right to serve as permanent members of the regular Armed Forces.

We are grateful for Lacey and Shannon's dedicationโ€”first to our country in uniform, and now to our community as first responders. Thank you both for your continued service! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿš’
