I’ve had people pause, get frustrated, take a break —
then come back a couple years later saying they wish they just did it.

I get it, timing feels like everything.
But waiting usually costs more than moving.

The mistake I see all the time is people choosing a program without understanding the strategy behind it.
That’s where things can go sideways.

Back then, there were ways deals got pushed through that just don’t exist anymore… especially with appraisals.

Today?
If you’re approved, you deserve to be approved.

That’s why I’m not buying into the “crash is coming tomorrow” narrative.

It’s just not the same system anymore.

Right now, Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, and Compass are in an all-out war to control where buyers search. Whoever wins that war controls YOUR leads.

But that’s their game. Not yours.

The most dangerous thing you can do as an agent or loan officer is hand your entire pipeline to one platform and call it a strategy. That’s not a business, that’s a subscription.

Top producers aren’t panicking over portal wars. They’re building. CRM. Brand. Content. Referral networks. Past clients. Sphere.
Every one of those is a slice of the pie. 🥧

The goal isn’t to eliminate paid leads, it’s to make sure no single slice can make or break you. When your pie has 8 slices, losing one doesn’t hurt. When it has 1 slice… you already know.
