It’s one thing for a real estate agent to say they understand the probate process. It’s an entirely different thing when a Virginia Circuit Court reviews your record and says, "We trust you to manage this entire estate."

A while back, I had the unique honor of being officially appointed by the court as the Administrator for the estate of someone I had no relation to. The court needed someone with an organized mind, total integrity, and a servant’s heart to step into a complex situation and protect a family’s legacy.

Managing an entire estate from the inside out gave me a view of the legal system that most people never see. I filed the inventories, balanced the court accounting, tracked down assets, and navigated the exact paperwork that causes so many families intense stress during a time of grief.

When you lose a loved one, the weight of handling their house, their debts, and the public court system can feel completely overwhelming. The cognitive load is just too high when you are trying to heal.

Because I have literally sat in the Administrator's seat, I don't just guess what steps your family needs to take—I know them by heart.
