The inaugural Savvy Senior Tech Studio graduation was a wonderful celebration of learning, growth, and achievement. Graduates were joined by family, friends, community partners, and our honorary class mascot, Angela Laird's grandbaby, as they celebrated the successful completion of the 8-week technology course. The class also surprised instructor and Assistant Manager Jeneen Johnson with a special presentation of flowers and a heartfelt thank-you card in appreciation for her patience, encouragement, and dedication in making the course both enjoyable and successful.
The impact of the program is already evident. When the course began, enrollment and engagement with the LOFT Living resident portal stood at 62%. Upon completion, participation increased to an impressive 95%, demonstrating the confidence and practical skills residents gained throughout the program. Graduates are actively utilizing what they learned, and enthusiasm remains high, with many residents expressing interest in both an intermediate-level technology course and future offerings of the beginner class.
