That's $232 more every single month — nearly $2,800 a year — for the exact same house.

I'm not saying this to scare you. I'm saying it because "waiting for rates to drop" has a price tag too, and nobody puts THAT in the headlines. The buyers winning right now are the ones getting pre-approved, knowing their real numbers, and moving when the right home shows up.
