Planning to go out of town? There are some things that you need to check off your list before leaving the house.

✈ Make sure to tidy up your home. You don't want to come home to a messy area after a long time away.
✈ Remember to take out the trash. If you don't, you run the risk of coming home to all sorts of rancid smells and pests galore.
✈ Before you leave, check the washer. Coming home to a whole load of laundry that has had a week to sit and sour is less than ideal.
✈ This is a no-brainer, but it doesn't hurt to double-check that all your windows and doors are locked before leaving.
