For all those looking for home improvement/remodels please READ carefully.
Please refrain from hiring Capital Remodeling Inc. They are unqualified, unprofessional, overpriced, and can't deliver what they promise. We hired them to do a kitchen renovation in Nov of 2024, and they just finished in Sept 2025. Only after signing the contract which has language that traps consumers did the service really get bad.
The installers didn't care about the quality of work, so they put up broken materials and also broke materials while installing. Never telling us about the problem until we reviewed the work. The project managers are inexperienced as they had inaccurate scopes of work, never looked at the project unless we had a problem, never return phone calls, and had excuses on what they typically do but didn't do for this project. They won't apply for permits so we had to consult legal counsel and our homeowner's insurance. Once we told them that they then began to apply for the permits. The work was so bad that they failed at least 3-4 trade level permits, so more time and inconvenience. Let's also mention that the sub-contractors suck and one in particular had the nerve to go in our refrigerator and store his drink without asking prior but did ask after. A complete idiot and s**t show.
We were the project managers, and we made sure we held the installers, project managers, sales manager accountable. The sales manager was a jerk to the highest degree as he came in trying to blame us for the issues and when corrected that this was a capital problem, he shrugged it off. He was so idiotic that he admitted he needed permits in his own home but when asked why they didn't apply for permits in our home he said permits are not always required. Dumb answer when referring to our project because based on the renovation it did require multiple permits. They also had inflated prices once discussing the discount and gave insulting discounts to offset the horrible experience. Very disrespectful initial and counteroffer discounts. Even after we negotiated a discount the sales manager, he tried to include silencing language so we couldn't provide reviews. "Resolution confidential" which we immediately told him to remove that language, as he will not silence us from sharing this horrible experience.
The rights that they have violated are as follows:
Right to a Reasonable Standard of work (Unreasonable time and lack of concern for health and safety of customer)

We filed multiple complaints with the following organizations:
