Umbrella's out, but the fun doesn't stop! Rainy weekend picks around Hampton Roads 🌧️

The forecast says stay in, but don't stay home! Here are some cozy indoor picks around the 757 this weekend:

🦸 Hampton Comicon: Cosplay, comics, gaming and celebrity panels at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Kids 10 and under get in free with a paid adult.
🎻 Hampton Roads Philharmonic, "October Classics": Sunday at The American Theatre in Phoebus. A perfect rainy-afternoon outing.
🎨 Chrysler Museum of Art: Free admission and world-class glass. A great way to spend a gray day in Norfolk.
🐠 Virginia Aquarium: Plenty to see indoors, and kids love it in any weather.
🚀 Virginia Air & Space Science Center: Hands-on exhibits for all ages in downtown Hampton.
⚓ Nauticus & the Battleship Wisconsin: Maritime fun right on the Norfolk waterfront.
📚 Your local library: Chesapeake, VB, Norfolk, Portsmouth and Suffolk libraries all have weekend programs.

Me... looking forward to taking the little grands to see The Hurray Players' Suessical 😀

I do love talking real estate...just ask my poor friends! 😂🏡

But seriously, after all these years, one thing I know for sure is that good communication makes all the difference.

Buying or selling a home comes with questions, decisions and sometimes a few surprises along the way.

My clients deserve to know what's happening, what comes next and that they can always pick up the phone and ask.

Real estate is about people first. And good communication builds trust.

Some travel experiences leave you with beautiful photographs. Others leave you with a deeper understanding of history. Our visit to the Grand Canyon gave us both. ❤️

We had the privilege of watching Indigenous performers share their stories, traditions, and the history of their ancestors.

Their resilience, connection to this magnificent land, and commitment to preserving their heritage left a lasting impression on us.

Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, I'm sharing this special memory in honor of America's Indigenous peoples — their history, their strength, and the generations who continue to carry their traditions forward.

What a privilege to listen, learn, and appreciate their stories. ❤️

☕️ Good Sunday Morning, Chesapeake! 💙

November is approaching, bringing colder days and nights. While many of us enjoy the warmth and comfort of home, some of our Chesapeake neighbors have no safe place to sleep.

One of the reasons I'm so proud to serve on the board of Chesapeake Area Shelter Team (CAST) is seeing firsthand how our churches, volunteers, and community come together to provide shelter, warm meals, and hope.

💙 As temperatures drop, let's make sure our compassion rises!

CAST is a local nonprofit, and every helping hand matters!

❤️ Want to help? Donate, or encourage your church, club or business to get involved.

Together, we can make a difference right here in Chesapeake!
