Every year I choose one word to guide my personal and business goals.
2025 was Growth.
2026 was supposed to be Intention — moving with purpose and planning every step.
But God had different plans.
What was meant to be just my wife’s 34-week appointment turned into an unexpected journey. Hours of monitoring became overnight stays. “Two weeks early” became “Seven days.” Seven became Five. Five became tonight.
Zara arrived 5 weeks early.
They say, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.”
And wow… did we learn that firsthand.
With her early arrival came NICU stays, hospital transfers, and long nights. My warrior of a wife was discharged within 24 hours, while our little girl fought for two weeks before finally coming home.
Watching my wife enduring surgery and embrace motherhood with such strength, grace, and courage has been the most powerful thing I’ve ever witnessed. I love her more than ever, and I’m grateful to grow through this journey by her side.
To have Zara, we had to have Faith.
And now my new word for 2026 is Adaptability — a reminder that we can’t control everything, but we can choose how we rise from it.
