🥰🏡 A BITTERSWEET EAGLE POINTE GOODBYE 🏡🥰

Today I had the privilege of going with my sweet neighbor and client, Kathy, to sign her closing paperwork… and I have to admit, this one is bittersweet. ❤️

After 13 wonderful years in Eagle Pointe, Kathy is packing up and heading to Pensacola, Florida on September 21st to be closer to her son and his family. 🌴☀️

Kathy has truly loved her years here… but even more than that, she has loved the friendships she’s made along the way. She told me how much she is going to miss everyone, and I know there are so many people here who are going to miss her right back. 🥹❤️

One of the hardest parts of what I do is saying goodbye to wonderful people who have become such a special part of our community. But what a wonderful new chapter Kathy has ahead of her… family close by, Pensacola sunshine, and 13 years of Eagle Pointe friendships and memories that she’ll be taking right along with her. ☀️🌴

Kathy, we’re going to miss that beautiful smile around here! Here’s to 13 wonderful years at Eagle Pointe and a very happy new adventure in Pensacola! 🥂🏡🌴❤️

🎉🥂 CELEBRATING 20 AMAZING YEARS IN REAL ESTATE! 🏡❤️

On September 1, 2006, I officially became a licensed Realtor... and somehow, 20 years have gone by! ❤️

When I started this journey, I had no idea where it would take me or just how many wonderful people I would meet along the way. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of families buy and sell their homes, navigate big life changes, and begin exciting new chapters.

Real estate has given me so much more than a career. It has brought incredible friendships, wonderful clients who have become friends, amazing colleagues, plenty of challenges, lots of laughter... and more stories than I could ever count! 😂

There have been changing markets, long days, late-night phone calls, contracts, inspections, closings, celebrations... and yes, probably a few gray hairs along the way! 🤣 But after 20 years, I can still say that I truly love what I do... most days! 😉

I’m incredibly grateful to every client who has trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives, every person who has referred a friend or family member to me, and everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way. Your trust and confidence in me have allowed me to build a career that I’m incredibly proud of. ❤️

And since this guy is right here beside me in the picture, I have to say... none of this would have been possible without Rick by my side. ❤️ Through all the crazy schedules, late nights, weekend appointments, phone calls, celebrations and everything in between, he has always supported me, encouraged me and cheered me on. Thank you, Rick, for being there through all 20 years... I couldn’t have done it without you! 🥰❤️

Twenty years down... and I’m definitely not finished yet! 🥂🏡

What a beautiful surprise to find on my front porch this morning! 🌸💗🍫

One of my sweet clients sent me this gorgeous orchid and box of chocolates as a thank you for helping her with the sale of her home. Completely unexpected and absolutely unnecessary…but oh my goodness, it made me feel so special! 🥰

I always try to go above and beyond for my clients…not because I expect anything in return, but because helping people through such an important transition in their lives is truly one of the things I love most about what I do. 🏡❤️

For a couple of hours tonight, Eagle Pointe was “wastin’ away again in Margaritaville!” 🌴🦜 Jimmy Buffett filled the Bay Club, everyone was singing along, and for just a little while, it almost felt like we were at a Jimmy Buffett concert again. 🎶❤️

There’s just something about Jimmy’s music that instantly puts you in a good mood… and hearing a room full of neighbors singing those songs together made tonight extra special.

And there’s more Buffett music to look forward to! 🌴 Mac McAnally and Michael Utley have been working on a new Jimmy Buffett album featuring previously unreleased recordings from over the years. The album is expected later this year, and I absolutely cannot wait to hear some “new” Jimmy! 🎶🦜

Such a fun night in Margaritaville right here at Eagle Pointe… fins up! 🦈🌴🍹

I sure do miss Jimmy Buffett. ❤️
