I have worked in Real Estate since 1997. I started my career in Chicago where I was a Realtor for Century 21 Hayes Realty. I was the recipient of awards such as Presidents Club to Multi Million dollar sales. I Moved to Virginia and started working for Real Estate Attorneys processing closings in 2002, it was in that role that I decided to return to selling real estate as that truly was my passion.

I spent one year working for a local realtor as a transaction coordinator where I was constantly reminded by kind words of others that I would be a fantastic realtor. It is very important to me that every client have a smooth transaction that is based on honesty and integrity. Areas served: Moyock,Chessapeake,Suffolk,Knotts Island,Virginia Beach.

Military schedules do not always leave room for a slow, simple home search — and that is exactly why the strategy matters. 🏡

If your timeline can shift quickly, the right home search should look beyond pretty listing photos. Commute, maintenance, flexibility, timing, and long-term fit can all make a major difference once real life begins.

In our latest blog, we’re sharing what military buyers should think through before choosing a home in Coastal Virginia — especially when schedules are unpredictable.

Thinking about selling in Virginia Beach? Before your home goes live, it helps to understand what today’s coastal buyers may be wondering before they ever schedule a showing. 🌊

Flood risk, insurance, maintenance, drainage, location details, and long-term livability can all shape how buyers view a listing — even when the home looks beautiful online.

This blog breaks down the buyer concerns sellers should think through before listing, so your home can be positioned with more confidence from the start.

Sometimes, the homes buyers love at first glance are not always the homes that fit their real life.

A beautiful kitchen, natural light, or a charming exterior can make a house feel exciting right away. But once the initial excitement settles, the deeper questions begin to matter.

Can we live with this layout every morning?
Will this commute feel manageable?
Does this home support the way our family actually moves, rests, works, and gathers?
Will this still feel right when life gets busy?

That shift from “Do we like it?” to “Can we live with it?” can change everything.

Because buying a home is not just about choosing a place that looks good. It is about choosing a place where everyday life can feel a little more settled, supported, and at peace.

Want Virginia Beach convenience without making waterfront pricing the center of your search?

Kempsville is one of those areas buyers sometimes overlook until they start thinking about daily life, commute routes, home layout, and long-term value more seriously.

This guide breaks down why Kempsville may deserve a closer look if you want Virginia Beach access with a more practical approach to your home search.

A rushed move can make almost any house feel like the right one… until real life starts.

That is one of the hardest parts of a PCS. There is pressure, there is timing, and there is often that quiet feeling that you need to make a decision fast just to keep everything moving.

But buying too quickly can mean overlooking the things that matter most later — the commute, the layout, the neighborhood feel, the daily routine, and whether the home truly fits the life waiting on the other side of the move.

Sometimes the biggest mistake is not choosing the wrong house. It is not giving yourself enough space to choose well.

That is exactly why I wrote this blog: Don’t Let a PCS Rush Your Home Purchase: What Can Go Wrong When You Buy Too Fast.

If this season feels overwhelming, or if this sounds like someone you know, I shared more here:

Buying in Virginia Beach? Flood risk is one of those details that can look very different from one property to the next — even when two homes seem similar online. 🌊

Before you fall in love with the view, the street, or the floor plan, it helps to know what questions to ask about flood zones, drainage, insurance, and long-term ownership.

Selling a home on a busy street? That detail can shape how buyers react before they even step inside — but it does not have to define the entire listing. 🏡

With the right pricing, presentation, photography, and strategy, sellers can help buyers see the full value of the home beyond the road in front of it.

Read the blog to learn what sellers should do before listing a home with a busy street location:

Norfolk can feel completely different from one area to the next — even when homes are only a few minutes apart. 🌊🏡

Some areas feel more walkable and connected to the waterfront. Others feel quieter, more residential, historic, coastal, or commute-focused. The key is knowing how each part of Norfolk may actually fit your day-to-day life before you fall in love with a home.

We’re breaking down what buyers should pay attention to beyond the listing photos.
