While gutters may seem like a small part of the home, they have an important job: collecting rainwater from the roof and directing it away from the siding, foundation, and surrounding areas.

A few tips for homeowners:
1. Keep gutters and downspouts clear of leaves & debris
2. Watch for sagging, loose, damaged, or leaking sections
3. Make sure downspouts discharge water away from the foundation
4. Check for overflowing gutters during heavy rain
5. Look for staining, pooling water, or other signs that water isn’t draining where it should

Regularly checking your gutters can help catch small issues before they lead to bigger problems around the home!
