Overnight, a fire impacted the Eagleview Town Center building that is home to Brickside Grill, Persis, Gemini, Rita’s, and Wellington Bookstore. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

PECO and the Fire Marshal are actively investigating the cause of the fire. While the investigation continues, power to the affected building will remain off and the businesses will be temporarily closed.

We know how much these restaurants and retailers mean to our community, and we’ll share updates on reopening plans as soon as they become available. Thank you for your patience and support.

Tomorrow is the big day....2018 Downingtown FallFest. Sunday, September 30th from 11am to 4pm. The Eagles game will be live streamed in the Victory Beer Garden. Over 200 food, craft and informational vendors. For a complete list of vendors, click on the link below:

For the fourth straight year, local and regional artists will meet in Downingtown to showcase their work. The Downingtown Fine Arts Festival will be held May 26 and 27 in the borough.

We've just learned that Greg Dodge of Zavino Hospitality Group (ZHG) will purchase Downingtown’s historic paper mill. The acquisition of this landmark property is the first step in the group's plans to transformation it into Enoteca Tredici Downingtown, which is slated to open by the end of 2018.
