I know the rain fall varied around the lake. I was expecting more rise than we had but some is better than none.
I have also been asked about water temp so I hope to soon find a good way to incorporate that into my posts. But for now the water temp has been reading about 72-74.

Well we didn’t get as much rain as hoped but at least the needle moved in the right direction for the first time since I have been tracking.

Well is was nice the storms missed us to continue getting docks and lifts installed but we could have used the rain! We ended up with a total of .21”. But the lake level appeared to have dropped about 1/2” since my last reading. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend!!

Greetings residents and friends of Brant lake! I get asked a lot what the level of the lake is. We have decided that my family is going to make it a project to monitor the level as well as rain fall and share the results here to help keep lake users informed. Any information shared is not official and is done to the best of our ability. The measurement of lake level is in reference to the hight of the outlet leaving Brant late at the start of skunk creek. For example last nights reading is -20.25. So the lake would need to raise 20.25 or more inches to start flowing over the damn. If anyone has any suggestions or questions please feel free to let me know. Also feel free to share this page or post and keep an eye out as I plan to update weekly or as rain happens.
