Services Include but are not limited to the following. LOT LAYOUT AND PLANNING
This phase consists of looking at the land and it's characteristics and deciding where different components need to go. Planning takes place for house, driveway, power, septic, well, and other components desired by client. Consideration to placement of these components based on cost, access, aesthetics, functionality,
and more. Each project is unique and we take the time to understand what is important to you and customize the project to meet your goals. SEPTIC DESIGN
There are several phases when it comes to Septic Design. We will inform the client each step of the way, and allow them to make educated decisions based on the information provided to them. We are not interested in slamming a design down your throat with no input. SOILS AND TEST PITS
The first step in Septic Design looking at the site and specifically the soils. Test pits are usually dug with an excavator and Soil Logs are created with the different layers and there characteristics. We also Identify a Estimated Seasonal High Water Table which will tell you what type of a system needs to be designed. The depth to the ESHWT is the major factor in what type of system and how much a septic can cost. SITEPLAN DEVELOPMENT
The next step is to survey the lot to develop a topographic map which will be used to ensure that your proposed system and all its components will meet The Department Of Enviromental Conservation and it's associated Wastewater and Potable Water Supply Rules. The siteplan will be used to pick the final location of the septic system, well and all other needed components. The siteplan with topographic data is also used as working model to give the client options before choosing the final location and details for the system. DESIGN AND APPLICATION
Once the siteplan is completed and locations and details have been discussed it is time to provide a full set of drawings which combined with a filled out application can be submitted to the Regional office for review by one of the Regional Engineers. The regional engineers review our work and approve your final plans. The final plans along with the permit will show exact locations of all components as well as details on how to construct each component. CONSTRUCTION AND INSPECTION
We work with contractors to make the building process as easy as possible. We will have site meetings and phone calls with the contractors to discuss the plan for construction as well as schedule inspection times. We are required to inspect the construction process during installation and submit final inspection letters or required asbuilt or amended permits.
