A few years ago, I was asked to help an out of state family member who was beginning a surgical residency in Michigan find a condo near the hospital (in a short period of time)! She flew to Michigan a couple of weekends to look at properties and we submitted a few offers, but they were not accepted. I then previewed several properties for her, and we finally found the one! Fast forward to this year, and she relocated to Pennsylvania to continue her training. She turned to me again, trusting me to sell her condo and find her a great realtor to help her secure a rental near her new hospital. As she was out of state, I stepped in to coordinate cleaners and contractors and met them at the home to get the needed work completed. I'm grateful for the trust placed in me to get this condo sold!

It was time for this sweet woman to say goodbye to the home she had shared with her late husband, and she didn't know who to call. Her neighbor, who happens to be a business associate of mine, was kind enough to refer her to me. We really connected as we shared stories of our lives during many wonderful conversations throughout the selling process. She told me she was usually very shy, but she couldn't seem to stop talking with me. She shared many memories in this house, helping raise stepchildren while working a full-time, long-term career, experiencing her own health issues, and nursing a sick husband through cancer until he passed, still surprised by his absence in his chair next to the fireplace every time she walked through the door. She is feeling a great sense of relief today and I fell blessed to have met a wonderful person.

A young family called me asking for help in finding a larger home with a basement and a nice sized yard in the Anchor Bay School District. They want their children to have room to play with friends and their toys and room for a pool for summer fun! We were able to get multiple offers on their home in the first weekend and we were able to find the home they were searching for within days of each other. Wishing them many years of happiness in their new home.

I helped my friend say goodbye to the home in which she raised her family. She arrived from California with two children and added two more children and numerous pets to the brood along the way. There was swimming and fishing in the pond, playing army in the fields, bonfires, dance classes and softball games. 34 years have flown by. The kids are grown and it's time for Mom and Dad to move to some warm weather. Wishing them all the best!
