a journey this has become!
I thought I had saved a good enough of a nest egg to leave the bank and pursue real estate full time without much of an issue⦠I was wrong. My first year of being a realtor was filled with crazy ups and downs⦠no consistent clients so no consistent moneyā¦. In and out of classes/seminars/meetings with mentors to learn the ins and outs of this business so I can actually add value when speaking to folksā¦. I remember while doordashing, I was making outgoing prospecting calls for leads, researching houses between orders, and listening to educational podcast while in my car delivering orders just trying to maxminize each day. I would even leave my business cards next to the orders when I dropped them off! We had to take a couple steps back and live uncomfortably if we were going to go to the next level that I knew I could get us to.
What a journey.
And I couldnāt have done it alone. My FiancĆ©, Ebone, gifted me a cashiers check for my initial realtor fees. I love you, Ebone. My family and friends were there for any and all kind of support every step of the way. I am my own engine but they were definitely premium fuel that helped me push through a lot of tough days and I want to say THANK YOU. My 2nd year in real estate has been mind blowing. I surpassed my numbers from my first year in half the time. I just finished a month where I was top 20% in my office and was also presented an award for capping. I already have agents that call me for advice, coaching, and mentoring and I love each call!
What a journey.
Iām continuing to shape my life into one me and my family can be proud of and enjoy! Iām not just helping people buy/selll homes, but Iām helping family, friends, strangers, and my community learn about real estate and how they can leverage it to help their specific situation. Thank you all for believing in me, trusting me, and supporting me.
Enjoy your results, but take pride in your journey! I know I do š
