Congratulations—you’re under contract! 🎉 Yay! But what exactly does that mean?

Whether you’re the buyer or the seller, it means you’ve both agreed on the price and the terms and signed the sales contract. That’s a huge milestone!
But it’s not the finish line just yet. This is the phase where inspections happen, appraisals are ordered, and the buyer’s financing is finalized. The title company also gets to work checking ownership details and preparing closing documents.
It’s an exciting step, but things still need to fall into place. Both sides might have to negotiate repairs or respond to questions that come up during this time.
