Community Managers Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time portfolio Community Association Manager.

The primary responsibility of the Community Association Manager is to assist the Board of Directors in the day to day operation of Homeowners’ and Condominium Association business.


Job duties include:

- Daily interaction with homeowners, Board members, and vendors
- Prepare managerial reports
- Solicit and negotiate vendor bids
- Prepare for and attend Board and annual meetings
- Provide guidance to the Board of Directors
- Fiscal management and budget preparation
- Property oversight

Job Requirements

IMMEDIATE OPENING!

This position is primarily responsible for creating monthly financial reporting packages for HOA and Condo Association clients. Works with a small accounting department and management team.
**Part-time position with the prospect of full time.
Daily hours in local office, no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities:
• Financial Statements: prepare financial reports for clients.
• Reconcilation: perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Work with Lead Accounting Coordinator.
• Learn and utilize the company’s financial accounting software.
• Work with management team members on projects requiring accounting input/guidance.
• Work with clients to answer questions as well as improve report accuracy.

Qualifications:
• College coursework in accounting.
• Excel proficiency.
• Attention to Detail.
• Familiar with accrual-based accounting would be a plus.
• General knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Coordinate with outside accountant on items that require special treatment.
• Experience in QuickBooks helpful.

• Review and approve vendor invoices on daily basis
• Process maintenance invoices and materials billing
• Manage process to order community coupon books
• Prepare and submit annual state registration for each community

Requirements:
-Education: High School graduate or higher.
-Experience: 3+ years in an office environment, specifically in accounting
-Must be Intermediate-user level with QuickBooks, MS Word, and MS Excel
-Understands basic accounting principles and practices. P&L familiarity a plus.
-Ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
