Hey There! I was showing houses this week and ran into an awesome orange door at 2826 Missouri Ave. in South St.Louis. The color of the door made me smile and reminded me how important simple things like the color of a front door can be. What color is your door? Do you like bright colors, or prefer a more subtle color front door? Please comment below. I would love to know what you think.

Quiz! Does a staged home sell faster than an empty home?

Here is a personal experience I had last week. A great bungalow sold within 4 days of being staged! Prior to staging it sat empty for nearly 3 months.
Obviously it could have been just a coincidence- but it does make you think.

Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins! My adulation for Trader Joe’s continues. The $3.95 deal on nice size pumpkins is worth the trip - not to mention the ‘over-the-top’ friendliness of the employees! I casually asked about the ‘candy corn flavored popcorn’ and the gal stocking the display opened a bag so I could try it! Have you EVER had a bad experience at Trader Joe’s ?? I have not.

HEAD SCRATCHER!
I haven’t seen a Woodland, Kisner, Dustin nor a Tiger but I have seen the Goodyear. The blimp hovering above Bellerive’s this week. Blimps are just plain cool. They look cool. They represent tradition. And they show up during cool events.
I like the blimp! Watching the blimp mingling with the clouds made me wonder- How many Goodyear blimps are there? 3? 30? 300?

NEW DOOR or NEW DECK??? The results are in and it looks like most of you were stumped! 67% of you thought the deck was the better ROI and 33% selected the steel door.

The average cost of a steel door is $1413 with a $1282 return.

If you are using the Zillow mobile app to search forl real estate you know the information is not particularly accurate. I have a new mobile app that uses the information on the local MLS information. It is updated 4 times a day too!
