Being a realtor in Northwest Indiana feels easy breezy when the deal is straightforward.

The real test is when things start to fall apart. 👀

When the appraisal comes in low, the inspection gets tense, the buyer gets nervous, or one unexpected problem suddenly changes the tone of the whole deal, that’s when you find out what kind of support you really have.

Those are the moments where I’m not just checking boxes.

Why you'll never be able to pry me out of living in Northwest Indiana.

The longer you live somewhere, the more you start noticing the stuff that actually makes it a place worth staying.

A few I'd genuinely miss:
The way everyone has an opinion on the best beach day—West Beach vs. Kemil vs. Ogden Dunes (and they’re all correct, somehow).

How a quick “I’m just running to Strack & Van Til” turns into 3 friendly conversations and at least one “tell your mom I said hi.”

The unofficial summer calendar: Festival of the Lakes, Lake County Fair, and “let’s just do a lap around the Dunes and call it self-care.”

The unspoken rule that you *always* have a back-up plan for construction on 30/41/94… and you don’t complain, you simply reroute like a local.

The way the whole region collectively comes alive the second the weather hits 72° (patios, grills, and suddenly everyone owns a bicycle).
