Some people are simply focused on hitting the number, closing the deal, and moving on to the next one. That's just never been the way I want to work.

The #1 thing to look for in a NWI real estate agent (and it's not experience).

Years on a license are easy to put on a bio, but they don't really tell you what working with someone is actually going to feel like, or whether they're going to be the right fit for the move you're about to make.

What matters so much more is finding someone who's truly invested in the outcome.

An agent who takes the time to understand what you're trying to accomplish, communicates clearly through every step of the process, and brings real strategy to every decision you make together along the way.

How someone makes you feel in that very first conversation is going to tell you so much more about them than any stat sheet ever could.

If you live in NWI, this post is probably a little too accurate 😂

The second the nice weather hits, every parking spot for a beach entrance is packed.

Everyone jokes about how there’s nothing to do here yet you find everyone doing the same thing!!

And somehow a “quick trip” to Costco or Chicago turns into an all-day adventure.

An unpopular opinion from a NWI real estate agent. 🤫

I'd rather lose a deal than rush someone into a home that doesn't actually make sense for them.

Most people assume agents are always going to push buying because that's how we get paid. I get it, but that mindset is exactly why so many people end up making one of the biggest decisions of their life under pressure they didn't need to be under.

My job isn't to convince you to do anything. It's to give you the full picture, walk you through the math, and help you figure out what makes sense based on the life you're actually living right now.

Sometimes that means writing an offer. Sometimes it means telling you to wait.

SOLD | 4303 Kingsdale Dr., Valparaiso 🏡☕️

I don’t think my sellers could have listened to me talk about their adorable coffee bar one more time—I was seriously jealous of it! 😂

I had the privilege of helping them buy this home a while back, and now I’ve had the honor of helping them sell it as they head back to Indianapolis for their next chapter. While we’ll miss having them around, I couldn’t be happier for them!

This transaction was about as smooth as they come, with just one tiny bump right at the finish line. Other than that, it was the kind of deal every agent hopes for: wonderful clients & great communication!

Inspired by the greatest rom-com of our time.

Most people going into a real estate transaction already know the basics.

But there are a few that catch people off guard...

Opening a new credit card or furnishing your new living room before closing can actually flag your loan and put the whole deal at risk.

A job change, even a good one, can do the same thing.

And going in with a low offer "just to see" often just signals to the seller that you're not serious.

The good news: all of this is avoidable with the right guidance going in.
