🏡 7 YEARS IN REAL ESTATE TODAY! 🎊
Seven years of growth, lessons, late nights, weekends showing houses all over the eastern shore, and a LOT of happy clients!! 7 years ago, I was working a job with basically no growth potential AND waitressing nights and weekends to make ends meet.
Today, I’m a full-time Realtor… who still works nights and weekends.. So technically, not much has changed. 😆
But everything has changed.
I’ll never forget my first Zillow lead Erin sent me for a very… very dumpy duplex in Church Hill. I showed up in a SUIT because apparently I thought that was what real estate agents did. 😂 Fast forward to today and I’m like… WOW. I REALLY wish I bought that dumpy duplex and I never wear a suit 🤦♀️ It’s worth about 4x what it sold for in 2019. You live, you learn. 😂
My first deal was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I questioned whether I had made a huge mistake, but Dave kept telling me to stick with it. I’m so darn thankful I did.
150+ deals for clients, 6 properties/9 rentals for our llc, in just 7 years. I’ve put everything into building our own company which in turn helps me help others!
I always knew I wanted to be in real estate. Growing up watching Dad and Grandad work construction planted that seed early. I went to UMD for architecture (decided I wanted to work on a boat instead) then listened to Rich Dad Poor Dad, BiggerPockets and Tom Ferry which helped completely change the trajectory of my professional life.
And I definitely didn’t do it alone.
I’m so incredibly thankful for Chesapeake Real Estate Associates, the people who have mentored me (Sam and Erin!), Dave for always pushing me to keep going, my family, my friends, and every single client who trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. ❤️
Real estate has given me SO much more than a career. It’s given me opportunities I never imagined, time to watch my babies grow, investments I never thought I’d own, friendships I wouldn’t have otherwise made, and a life that looks very different than the one I was living 7 years ago. If you had told that girl 7 years ago where she’d be today, she would have laughed but dreamed.
Still learning. Still growing. Still answering calls at dinner. Still showing houses on weekends. 😂
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

And yes… I’m STILL regretting not buying that damn duplex. 😂
