A little proof that being a Cheyenne real estate agent is way more random than it looks 👀

My camera roll is a mix of houses, furnace photos (so many furnace photos), progress pics I send clients throughout their build or inspection, gifts I’m picking out for closing day, local spots my clients end up loving, and random happy texts that make the whole job worth it.

It’s not glamorous. But it’s honestly the most accurate look at what this job actually is between closings and the polished posts you see.

WE MADE IT. First day of school, in the books 🎒☀️

This morning was drop off with all the feelings, equal parts “finally” and “where did summer go, I want to keep my babies home” And now here we are, pick up time already, like it’s just another Monday.

Full time mom, full time realtor, honestly those two collide every single day, not just today. This morning it was three kids at three different schools, three separate drop offs, and fielding calls in between carpool lines lol 🙃

Cheers to a fresh school year, and to everyone else juggling it all with a cup of hot coffee in hand because you refuse to drink iced coffee like me 😂 You’ve got this!

Overthinking a real estate decision in Cheyenne? Same, honestly. Let’s fix that. 🙃

Real estate makes even confident people spiral a little. Timing, price, the market, your aunt’s opinion, the fear of picking wrong. It all hits at once and suddenly you’re googling the same listing for the 10th time.

Here’s the thing: not every question deserves your energy. Some are actually useful. Most are just noise wearing a due-diligence costume.

Not going to pretend today was easy. Between inspection surprises, a financing scare, a repair quote that made my jaw drop, and contractors who couldn’t agree on the same fix, today was problem-solving back to back with barely a breather.

Some days are open houses and sold signs. Today was this.

I still love this job. I just think the hard days deserve some honesty too, not just the highlight reel.

Okay so here’s the thing about Cheyenne. It hits different, and it’s not for the reasons in the tourist guides. 👀

It’s the little stuff. The stuff you don’t even notice until you leave and realize you miss it like crazy.

Those sunset skies that somehow never get old. Quick coffee runs downtown. Summer evenings at Lions Park. Wide-open Wyoming views on my drive home. That small-town feeling where I somehow always know someone who knows you.

I stop noticing these things because they’re just… my everyday. Until I remember they’re literally what makes this place feel like home.

If you’re a military family with kids who see specialists, you already know: appointments and dealing with Tricare, becomes part of your normal routine.

This is one of the campuses we’ve spent a lot of time at. Children’s Hospital Colorado has multiple campuses around Denver/Broomfield/etc, all with tons of specialists, and my kids have been to plenty of them. One of my daughters also sees specialists at Rocky Mountain Children’s in Denver, and they’ve been fantastic too. Some specialists even travel up to Cheyenne on occasion, which is such a nice bonus.

I know finding the right specialist care is one of the biggest stress points when you’re moving with kids who have medical needs. If you’re going through the EFMP process right now trying to figure out if Cheyenne is going to work for your family, I get it! Been there, done that and will again lol.

My three kids see all kinds of specialists between Cheyenne and Colorado and we’ve had a great experience every time. You’ve got real options here, and you don’t have to figure it out alone!
