Be kind to the moms today. ❤️

Some of us just dropped our babies off for their first day of school and are now pretending we are totally fine while simultaneously wondering:

Did they get to class okay?
Did they find their friends?
Did they eat their lunch?
Are they having fun?
Are they safe?
Do they miss me?

And before you say, “They’re fine!” — I KNOW. 😂

But whether they’re four, fourteen, or forty-four, apparently our mom brains never stop worrying about them getting where they’re going safely.

So slow down in the school zones. Watch for the little people crossing the streets. Give the mom in the car ahead of you an extra second. We’re all just trying to get our babies where they need to go. ❤️

And to my fellow moms…

WELCOME BACK TO KIDLESS SEASON. 😂🎉

It’s time for crafts.
Fixing things nobody asked us to fix.
Starting projects that absolutely should have waited.
Solving problems that technically don't exist.
And somehow accomplishing the completely impossible with nothing but caffeine, determination and enough willpower.
