Is the Cheyenne real estate market as hot as the weather has been?

Steve Prescott takes a look at the numbers through July 2026 and while the temperatures have definitely been HOT, the real estate market is showing steady, consistent growth.

Average sold prices are up about 3%, slightly more homes have sold compared to this time last year, and new construction sales are up too.

No crazy swings. No runaway market. Just a healthy Cheyenne market continuing to move.

Cheyenne real estate is still moving. 📈🏡

Through July 2026:

🏡 Average sold price: $430K, up about 3%
🔑 Homes sold: 1,092, up from 1,067
🏗️ New construction: 126 sales, compared to 112 last year

The takeaway? Cheyenne’s housing market continues to show steady growth without any wild swings.
