Can you feel it? The First Hints of Fall?

Something is changing. Not enough for most people to notice. But I notice. This morning, there wasn't sunlight waiting for me when my alarm went off. Just a few weeks ago, the sun beat me out of bed every morning. Now, at 5:30, the darkness lingers a little longer. The crickets are back. Oh my goodness — I have been so lucky these past couple of days, watching the dark clouds creep in from the southwest. Everything gets quieter. The room dims just a little.
