Some transactions are straightforward. This wasn't one of them.
Out-of-state sellers. A fixer. A timeline that required everyone to show up and do their job with urgency. And a buyer who walked in, saw the opportunity clearly, and didn't flinch.

When all the right people are in the room — or on the phone, or across the country — and everyone is rowing in the same direction, you can get things done that might look impossible from the outside.

I'm grateful for every person who made this one happen. The buyers, the lenders, title — all of it. Deals like this remind me why I love this work.

Not every closing is a celebration. Some of them are a relief. This one was both.

So happy for my sellers who just accepted an offer from the right buyer — and this one is a great reminder of why experience matters.

Sometimes you have to wait for the right buyer. That's not a failure of the process, it's the process working exactly as it should.

As a listing agent, I pay close attention to every conversation — the questions buyers ask, the concerns their agents raise. You can tell within the first minute whether someone is the right fit for a fixer property.

If a buyer is already stressed about basic cosmetic work on a fixer, that's information. It's not about judging anyone — it's about knowing that the escrow will likely be spent trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, and that doesn't serve my clients or the buyer.

It's kind of like dating. If it's not a match, it's just not a match — and that's okay.

This time, we found our match. The buyer came in with a strong, well-aligned offer and the right mindset for this home. I'm so grateful for my clients and for a buyer.

Now we've got a solid team working together to get this one across the finish line. Every challenge that comes up, we'll face it together — and if there's a way to make it work, we will find it.
