We couldn’t have asked for a better evening to wrap up our Emerging Leader Happy Hours for the year! Thanks to Pru (Colliers Real Estate Management Services) for hosting us on their rooftop terrace overlooking Millennium Park.

Our Emerging Leader Committee doubled in size this year, growing to over 40 members! Together, they planned two happy hours in tenant lounges across our member buildings and a river cruise, creating opportunities to build relationships and experience different spaces throughout Chicago’s commercial real estate industry. Chicago’s commercial real estate community showed up! 🎉 Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported our 1st Annual BOMA/Chicago Block Party at the Merchandise Mart. It was a great night bringing our community together to celebrate the industry we’re proud to be part of — with good drinks, great bites, live music, and plenty of time to connect.

is all about being ready before an emergency happens. 🚨Our Preparedness Committee recently hosted its annual tabletop exercise at Old Post Office (JLL), with our Premier Partner, Allied Universal presenting.

This year’s exercise focused on a series of EV charging station malfunctions across the downtown market, challenging participants to identify vulnerabilities and develop coordinated response plans.

Property management and security professionals worked alongside Chicago Office of Emergency Management & Communications, Chicago Police Department, The Chicago Fire Department - CFD, the FBI and other public-sector partners to strengthen communication, collaboration and emergency response coordination.

Thank you to Allied Universal for presenting this year’s exercise and to everyone who participated in this important preparedness initiative.
