⚠️ I quit. I officially quit. After 20 years of real estste experience and almost 10 years as licensed Real Estate Agent and Broker, I have officially seen it all 🤣🤠🏡
At this point, I’m honestly starting to think I should write a book…
because there is NO WAY people would believe the things that happen to Realtors unless we have witnesses, security footage, and therapy records 🤣
Young grasshopper Realtors… gather around. Let Lory Pinzariu/HomeSmart Connect explain the emotional support chaos you’re about to experience in this business.
Nobody warns you that Real Estate is actually:
• 10% selling houses
• 40% therapy
• 30% crisis management
• 15% chasing people for signatures
• and 5% questioning every life decision that brought you here 🤣
All these years I have:
— almost been attacked with a flashlight during a “vacant” showing
— negotiated with a raccoon who clearly believed he owned the garage
— nearly died fighting for my life against a German Shepherd named Sam 🤣
— had a buyer fail a drug test ON closing day after three months under contract, which ultimately meant, he no longer could qualify for his loan..hence…. No job, no house 🤪
— survived open houses full of people who came strictly for free snacks and air conditioning
— and written contracts from parking lots, beaches, football games, hospitals, and during at least one mild mental breakdown.
And honestly?
Those are just the stories I can publicly admit to 🤣 There are more stories behind the scene!✍️✍️✍️
Real Estate isn’t glamorous.
It’s basically:
contracts, caffeine, chaos, negotiations, emotional support, and pure survival.
But somehow… after all the insanity…
I still love this business 🤍
…although I probably deserve hazard pay at this point 🤣
